1. The cross of Jesus is the fulfilment of the Old Covenant.

2. Jesus did not destroy the Old Covenant. He fulfilled it and brought it to its end.

3. Jesus' death brought in the promised New Covenant, "the Perfect Law."

4. His resurrection and ascension is to be witnessed and told to the world.
