Text[0]="&nbsp;1. After the ninth plague, Moses warned Pharaoh, "+speechstr+"All the firstborn in the land of Egypt will die!"+speechstr+" Pharaoh then told Moses and Aaron never to come back.";
Text[1]="&nbsp;2. As God had told them, the Israelites borrowed from their Egyptian neighbors jewels of gold and silver, and fine cloth. God made them willing to let the Israelites have what they asked for.";
Text[2]="&nbsp;3. God gave Moses instructions on preparing for the Passover and for getting ready to leave Egypt.";
Text[3]="&nbsp;4. Moses and Aaron told the elders of the people all that God had said. The elders in turn told the people.";
Text[4]="&nbsp;5. The people prepared for the first Passover meal as God had commanded. Each family selected a perfect lamb or goat.";
Text[5]="&nbsp;6. After the lamb was killed, its blood was smeared on the door posts and lintels of each home.";
Text[6]="&nbsp;7. That evening, each family ate the Passover meal, standing up, ready to leave.";
Text[7]="&nbsp;8. At midnight the firstborn both of man and animals in the land of Egypt died as Moses had told Pharaoh. Pharaoh"+aposstr+"s own crown prince also died.";
Text[8]="&nbsp;9. Pharaoh hurried to ask Moses and Aaron to come. "+speechstr+"Get out of Egypt, all of you,"+speechstr+" he told them. "+speechstr+"Take your flocks and herds. Ask a blessing on me!"+speechstr+"";
Text[9]="&nbsp;10. When the Israelites left, they took along the body of Joseph who had died 400 years earlier. He had asked to be buried at Shechem in the land of Canaan.";
Text[10]="&nbsp;11. The children of Israel traveled to Succoth, and then turned toward the Red Sea.";
Text[11]="&nbsp;12. God went before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.";
Text[12]="&nbsp;13. When Pharaoh realized what he had lost in free labor now that Israel had left, he again changed his mind. "+speechstr+"Let"+aposstr+"s chase after them and bring them back,"+speechstr+" he ordered.";
Text[13]="&nbsp;14. Pharaoh sent 600 of his best Chariots to bring the Israelites back.";
Text[14]="&nbsp;15. When they saw the Egyptians coming, the Israelites became very much afraid. They scolded Moses and said, "+speechstr+"Why did you bring us out of Egypt to die in the desert?"+speechstr+"";
Text[15]="&nbsp;16. "+speechstr+"Do not be afraid,"+speechstr+" Moses told the people. "+speechstr+"The Lord will fight for you."+speechstr+"";
Text[16]="&nbsp;17. God told Moses, "+speechstr+"Stretch out your stick over the sea. It will divide so the people can walk through without getting their feet wet."+speechstr+"";
Text[17]="&nbsp;18. Moses did as God said. The Israelites walked through the Red Sea on dry land. The Egyptians followed them but the pillar of cloud came between them and kept them from reaching the Israelites.";
Text[18]="&nbsp;19. When the Israelites had gone through the Red Sea, Moses stretched out his stick again, and the water covered and drowned the Egyptian army.";
Text[19]="&nbsp;20. Safely across the Red Sea, Moses and the people thanked God for His great mercy. They sang a wonderful song of thanksgiving.";
