One day in the spring Jesus invited the disciples to come with Him and rest a while.'; Text[1]=' 2. So they went to the seashore and got into a boat.'; Text[2]=' 3. They sailed across the Sea of Galilee toward a quiet place near the town of Bethsaida.'; Text[3]=' 4. Many people saw Jesus and His disciples leaving. They left their towns and villages and hurried along the shore to the other side to meet them.'; Text[4]=' 5. When Jesus landed He saw a great crowd. Many others still were coming to be with Him.'; Text[5]=' 6. Jesus welcomed the people. He healed the sick who came to Him.'; Text[6]=' 7. The people wanted Him to teach them about God. Jesus usually went up a hillside so that the crowds could see and hear Him as He spoke.'; Text[7]=' 8. Jesus began teaching them many things about God. He told them of God\'s plan for all people.'; Text[8]=' 9. Late in the afternoon the disciples said to Jesus, "Send them away, that they may go into the country round about and into the villages, and buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat."'; Text[9]=' 10. Jesus answered, "You give them something to eat."'; Text[10]=' 11. The disciples replied that they did not have enough food for such a great crowd. They asked Jesus if they should go and buy food.'; Text[11]=' 12. Jesus said, "How many loaves do you have? Go and see."'; Text[12]=' 13. When they came back Andrew, Simon Peter\'s brother, told Jesus that there was a boy with five barley loaves and two fish.'; Text[13]=' 14. The little boy must have been very happy as he brought his lunch to Jesus to share with the hungry people.'; Text[14]=' 15. Jesus said to His disciples. "Tell the people to sit down in groups on the green grass." And they sat down in groups of about fifty people.'; Text[15]=' 16. Jesus took the basket lunch of five loaves and two fish. He looked up and blessed the food before anyone ate.'; Text[16]=' 17 . Jesus broke the bread and fish into small pieces. He gave the food to Philip, Andrew and the other disciples to give to the people.'; Text[17]=' 18. All ate and were fully satisfied. Jesus fed about 5,000 men not counting many women and children.'; Text[18]=' 19. Afterwards Jesus told the disciples to gather up all the leftovers so nothing would go to waste. They gathered twelve baskets full.'; Text[19]=' 20. Then the disciples went back to the boat and sailed across the sea.';
