Text[0]='&nbsp;1. Jesus and His disciples were on their way to the city of Jerusalem.';

Text[1]='&nbsp;2. Throughout the countryside, the word spread, "Jesus is coming!"';

Text[2]='&nbsp;3. Now, in that country were some men who were sick with leprosy. No doctor could help them. They had no hope of ever getting well again.';

Text[3]='&nbsp;4. Lepers could not live with their families. They had to stay away from other people so that they would not spread the terrible sickness.';

Text[4]='&nbsp;5. When the lepers heard that Jesus was coming, they decided to go to Jesus.';

Text[5]='&nbsp;6. So the ten lepers hurried to go where Jesus would come walking by.';

Text[6]='&nbsp;7. How happy they were when they saw Jesus coming! They came as close as the Law permitted.';

Text[7]='&nbsp;8. "Jesus, master have pity on us!" they called out. They believed Jesus could make them well.';

Text[8]='&nbsp;9. When Jesus saw the lepers, He felt very sorry for them.';

Text[9]='&nbsp;10. Jesus told them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." The Jewish priests acted as health officers.';

Text[10]='&nbsp;11. At once they were willing to obey Jesus by going to the priests.';

Text[11]='&nbsp;12. As the lepers hurried along to see the priests, Jesus made them well.';

Text[12]='&nbsp;13. When one of the lepers saw that he was well again, he turned back shouting praises to God.';

Text[13]='&nbsp;14. But the other nine lepers kept on hurrying away. They didn\'t even think of thanking Jesus for healing them.';

Text[14]='&nbsp;15. The one thankful leper hurried back to where Jesus was:';

Text[15]='&nbsp;16. When he came to Jesus, this leper knelt in front of Him and thanked Jesus for making him well again.';

Text[16]='&nbsp;17. Jesus asked, "Weren\'t there ten men healed? Where are the other nine? Is nobody going to turn and praise God for what has been done, except this stranger?"';

Text[17]='&nbsp;18. Jesus looked at the thankful leper and said, "Stand up now, and go on your way. It is your faith that has made you well. "';
