  1. The apostles preached the commission of Jesus on the day of Pentecost.

Acts 2

  2. Those that received their words obeyed what Jesus had commissioned: believed, repented, were baptized, and continued in the teachings.
Acts 2:38-42

  3. The apostles performed signs (miracles) and people obeyed the Lord.
Acts 2:43, 47

Acts 2 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. (NKJV)

  4. At the first, only the apostles did signs and taught the people.

  5. At the first, only the apostles were threatened by the Jews.
Acts 4:21; 5:17
