G2222 ζωἡ "life" is used 88 times in the New Testament and usually refers to heavenly life.

G2222 contrasts with physical life bios G979* (and bioo [bee-oh'-o] v. G980 1. to spend bodily existence):

G982 bio¯tikos is a derivative of G980 and is used in 1 Corinthians 6:3.

*G979- Strong's Dictionary: A primary word; life, that is, (literally) the present state of existence; by implication the means of livelihood: - good, life, living.

Note: I have heard teachers talk of 1 Corinthians 6:3 as referring to heavenly things. But the word for life in this 1 Corinthians 6 passage is the word for earthly existence (G982 bio¯tikos). -- The church is responsible for disciplining members (context continues from 1 Corinthians chapter 5). G982 bio¯tikos is the same word used in Luke 21:34, "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life".
