Answer: 1 John 2: 2: “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours on1y only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Not in disobedience.

This is rebellion.

Not in denominationalism.

This is division.

 

Not in innovations.

This is digression.

Not in ”faith only.”

This is perversion.

Not in repentance only.

This is insufficient.

Not in baptism only.

This is hypocrisy.

Not in morals only.

This is human glory.

Not before hearing.

This would save the untaught.

Not before believing.

This would save infidels.

Not before repenting.

This would save the unreformed.

Not before confession.

This would save the unacknowledging, creedless man..

Not before baptism.

This would save the uncrucified, unburied, unresurrected man.

YOU CONTACT THE BLOOD

In obedience, where we are made whole.

Romans 6:8.

In the body (church), where we are reconciled. Eph. 2: 16.

In the truth, where we are made free.

In. 8:32.

In faith and works, which combine to save. James 2:24.

In repentance, preceded by faith to induce it and follow by obedience to

to prove it. Acts 2:38.

In baptism, preceded by crucifixion of sin, followed by a life of righteousness.

Romans 6:4.

In morals, coupled with obedience to positive divine law, which honors

Christ's authority. Matt. 28:18-20.

In life, by walking in the light as he is in the light. I John. 1:7.

Q.9. What will the blood of Jesus NOT do?

SEVEN THINGS THE BLOOD WILL NOT DO

 

1. The blood will not make you a mem ber of any denomination.

You should be a member of none of them. I Cor. 1:10.

 

2. The blood will not give you a denominational creed or name.

You should bear none of them. Acts 4:12.

 

3. The blood will not obligate you to a denominational program.

You should not be yoked to any of them. Gal. 5: 1.

4. The blood will not cleanse you before you hear, believe, repent, confess Christ and are baptized for the re mission of sins. These are heaven's conditions; you must meet them all.

Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 8:37.

5. The blood will not save you out of the Lord's church.

You must be added to it. Acts. 2:47.

 

6. The blood will not save you out of Christ.

You must be ”in Christ” to be a new creature. 2 Cor. 5:17.

 

7. The blood will not save you in your sins. You must forsake them. Acts. 3:26; 17:30.

SEVEN THINGS THE BLOOD WILL DO

 

1. The blood will wash away your past sins, in loving forgetfulness. Rom. 3:25.

2. The blood will purge and cleanse your present, by adequate circulation. 1 John 1:7.

3. The blood will redeem your soul, by precious purchase price. 1 Pet. 1: 18. 19.

4. The blood will sanctify your life by heavenly dedication. Eph. 5:26.

5. The blood will feed your spirit, by gospel abundance. 2 Cor. 4:15.

6. The blood will protect you from contamination, by its cleansing power,

Rev. 1:5.

7. The blood will lead you finally home to heaven, by the blood stained trail Heb. 10:20.
